We are pleased to again be supporting the Britcar 24 Hour, running at Silverstone from 18th - 20th September, 2026.
Now an official iRacing Special Event, the Britcar 24 Hour, run at Silverstone since 2018, returns this month. And, for the first time it is as an official Special Event on the iRacing calendar, with GT3 and GT4 teams sharing the circuit for a full 24 hours.
Sponsoring sim endurance racing was a straightforward decision for Cosworth. Pi Toolbox has been used for years to analyse data in WEC, WRC, Super Formula, BTCC, IndyCar, international GT and single-seater racing. The same analysis engine is found in the version that sim racers run. So, it doesn’t matter if you are on the pit wall or a sim rig you can be sure you have the full power of Pi Toolbox at your disposal.
Cosworth's Pi Toolbox Telemetry Converter streams iRacing telemetry live into Pi Toolbox during a stint and reads iRacing's IBT files natively for review after a session. The latest set of templated workbooks makes it quick to get going and Pi Toolbox Plus goes further with aero calculations and built-in aero maps for a wide range of cars. This is all part of Cosworth’s ongoing sim software roadmap and our long-term commitment to iRacing.
Coming next: Paceteq ONE TIMING in Pi Toolbox
That roadmap includes a brand new partnership with Paceteq, a motorsport software specialist focused on bringing timing data to life.
Every pit wall runs two screens. Telemetry on one, timing on the other and an engineer in the middle joining them up by eye. Paceteq ONE TIMING in Pi Toolbox puts all that data on the same screen. Plus, a new iRacing Paceteq plugin coming soon brings channel data (live or saved) together with new display types built for timing. The key benefit of using channel data is that it can be plotted against telemetry and recorded for review after the race.
Pi Toolbox for iRacing is available now at members.cosworth.com.
