Developing high-performance engines has been the backbone of Cosworth since the company’s inception. In the last decade we have broadened our capabilities, manufacturing world class engines for not only automotive and motorsport, but also aerospace and marine applications.
As we all look to a more sustainable future our experiences in ICE, electrification, data and control systems allow us to develop clean sheet integrated hybrid packages for our customers. Our dedicated manufacturing facility at Silverstone is ISO 9001 certified and contains state-of-the-art equipment capable of producing up to 30MWh per year, which can be expanded for larger volumes. We use special ultrasonic, pulse arch welding and wire bonding techniques to ensure strong, reliable bonds are formed between critical components.
Our Cat Gen technology is highly versatile, additionally to its use as a battery recharging system for vehicles, it can also be used to generate power for a multitude of sectors, both stationary and mobile equipment from high intensity work lights to charging battery operated machinery.
