RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Robot programming
• CNC hone machines and other niche manufacturing operations and equipment
• Providing process instructions to operators
• Developing process methods
• Identifying ways to reduce production costs
• Preparing and reviewing project proposals
• Liaising with other members of staff, department managers, customers and suppliers
• Investigating problems and resolving them
• Working with other members of the process team

The successful applicants will be studying towards a full engineering apprenticeship as an Engineering Technician.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & CHARACTER:

Applicants will ideally have at least 5 GCSEs grades 9-4 including Maths, English and a Science, Technology or Engineering based subject. Be working towards, or have already attained, an Extended Diploma or a BTEC qualification in Engineering.

Motivation, flexibility and excellent communication skills are a must.
