RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing the Helpdesk, resolve tickets or investigate and gather further information to pass on to secondary support engineers.
- Administer user accounts in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Ensure all new starters have IT equipment and accounts ready for day one.
- Process leavers ensuring data is archived and accounts are shut down.
- Assist other team members in IT projects where required.
- Deploy and configure mobile devices where required.
- Assist with administration of backup tape rotation.
- Deploy standard software to the company devices as required.
- Support end-point-protection solution and identify and assist in resolving detected issues.
- Perform additional IT related tasks as required based on training and experience.
- Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
- Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.
- Undertake any other duties or activities reasonably requested in order to meet departmental or company goals.
