RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
  • Electrical Inspection and testing
  • Design and Installation of new services
  • Alterations and repairs to existing services
  • Liaising with specialist contractors
  • Comply with Cosworth Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Provide Technical support where required
  • Installation and maintenance of network cabling
  • Fault finding on motor control and electrical control panels
  • Procurement of parts and equipment
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice
  • Undertake any other duties or activities reasonably requested in order to meet departmental or company goals

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTER:

• Time served apprentice
• 17th Edition (C&G 2382-15)
• Knowledge of PIRANA CMMS
• Knowledge of Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms)
• IT Literate
• Understanding of PLC logic
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Good timekeeping and attendance
• Good standard of work is required as well as following work instructions in a Timely manner
• Reliable and hardworking with a flexible and proactive approach
• Self-motivated, focused and able to work independently with minimal supervision with a right first-time attitude

  • Test & Inspect C&G 2391, 2394/5
  • HV access
