While we’ve excelled in the automotive and motorsport landscape since the earliest days of our company, we have also developed a strong and growing reputation in the aerospace sector in more recent years. Undisputedly one of the most progressive areas of engineering, aerospace requires all the characteristics that make us such a trusted partner: reliability, quality, lightweight, forward-thinking, problem-solving, state-of-the-art technology.

We have been supplying our forged pistons and piston machining products to the commercial and light aviation sectors for many years. All our production components are designed and manufactured to the AS9100 Quality Standard. In addition, we also manufacture fully machined performance pistons for use in both historic and modern aero engines. Since 2005, we have played an active role in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programmes, developing an offering to the military aerospace industry which continues to expand.

Initially entrusted by the US Navy, we have used our in-house engineering expertise and test facilities to develop the AG2 drone, a product that has exceeded the performance of alternative manufacturers. Our heavy fuel (diesel and Jet A1) engine pistons have played a key role in developing our reputation in the aerospace market and with UAV technology. These are custom pistons that have been developed to withstand high cylinder pressure and duty cycle demands.
Much like our work in motorsport and automotive, we are also able to use our skilled in-house team to recreate classic pistons for historic aviation customers. We excel on projects which require careful and diligent reverse engineering to painstakingly engineer piston parts from original certified designs. During its 16-year run, the Red Bull Air Race put performance and reliability to the ultimate test in a thrilling spectacle of deft skill and daring.
We were proud to have been selected as piston provider for the series, demonstrating the quality and dependability of our products by some of the world’s most impressive pilots and racers.
