With our extensive capabilities, we possess the ability to develop all subsystems of a vehicle. From suspension and chassis design to electric powertrain integration and control electronics. The cutting-edge solutions that we develop across our entire group, ensures the utmost performance is extracted from every component.

DELTA E4
The Delta E4 is a demonstration of the capabilities to deliver not only vehicle systems but also the complete vehicle itself. The lightweight composite structure has been designed to be aerodynamically efficient, yet still accommodate four adults, making it an ultra-efficient vehicle for energy consumption. The delta modular battery system is situated in the floor of the vehicle, allowing for easy access and rapid battery swap capability, aluminium sub-frames can integrate a multitude of electric machine types to give either a 2 or 4 wheel-drive configuration.

E4 TECHNOLOGY
The E4 technology demonstrators have been configured as 2WD, 4WD and Range Extended EV’s, as well as running brake-by-wire, steer-by-wire and wireless charging solutions integrated with Delta’s PMC (Platform Master Control) allowing torque vectoring development.

LIGHTWEIGHT STRUCTURES
Our technical in-house capabilities allow us to precisely engineer and produce lightweight structures. We can develop parts in a multitude of materials, aluminium, steel or composite, depending on customer requirements, these can form structural or non-structural elements of any structure.
With the use of FEA (Finite Element Analysis), we can analyse the integrity of our structures to ensure components are designed without excess weight and perform exactly as intended. We can take designs from single panels, right up to full vehicles/systems.

POWERTRAIN INTEGRATION
With years of EV expertise and development we are able to integrate powertrain systems into original or bespoke structures, this includes full system specification and integration of traction motors, inverters and chargers.
Our battery systems are designed in-house to customer specification, allowing full flexibility of size and layout enabling full battery system integration into already existing designs. We also have the ability to develop powertrain control systems to optimise any of our integrated powertrain systems.
