DIABLO
Designed to be highly modular, flexible and scalable for a wide range of applications, Diablo is PC-based software for data acquisition and control. Originally developed to meet the demanding needs of the modern Formula One wind tunnel before branching into other automotive applications, Diablo provides a high degree of automation for test cells
ADVANCE TESTING
Tests can be defined in advance, then managed automatically through a sequence of test conditions, including control and co-ordination of sub-systems. Data is collected and logged on the PC and can be analysed while the test proceeds, with performance metrics written into an SQL database for post-test analysis.
CUSTOMISABLE
The Diablo Operator Console is a customisable worksheet-based user interface application with purpose designed controls and displays to simplify test control and provide targeted operator feedback. The Operator Console is suitable for modern multi-screen PCs, with the ability to define floating windows for each screen.
THIRD PARTY HARDWARE INTEGRATION
In addition to supporting our own range of hardware, Diablo is capable of integrating third party hardware and systems, including EtherCATâ„¢ devices via TwinCAT. Diablo also has proven connectivity to third party devices via generic UDP, OPC (OLE for Process Control) and CAN bus interfaces. We have also developed several interfaces for proprietary third-party systems to fully integrate tunnel systems into the Diablo control and acquisition environment.
