Since 2002, Cosworth Electronics engine management system wins World SuperSport  races and world championship using an SQ6M ECU. This electronic package helped Ten Kate Racing to secure 8 WSS titles and 1 WSBK title in 2007 with James Toseland.

Pectel SQ6M ECU

The SQ6M ECU is an astonishing product; the Deutsch Autosport connector and aluminium casing create a very good value for money waterproof ECU. The ECU can control variable intake trumpets, ride-by-wire, exhaust valve or Air By-pass Valve. It has been used on a sport bike since 2002 and his software is perfectly capable to control a SBK to the highest place on the podium, which has been done in 2011 in Assen during the WSBK race.

Pectel DB1 Card logger

The DB1 is a compact flash card writer used to log the information send over CAN by the ECU. The logging memory is up to 2GB and the bandwidth is up to 8000 samples/second. This provides a very flexible logging system where you do not need to plug a wire to download the data. After each outing, the data engineer replaces the card by an empty one and can use the data logged while debriefing with the rider.

X-Sport Dash
This 7-segment LED displays is used to display values directly from the ECU data stream. The X Sport has a number of individual bright LEDs which are used as alarms and gear change lights as well as lap times.

IMU-G
The IMU-G (Inertial Measurement Unit) is able to measure all three axis of acceleration (AccX, AccY, AccZ) and angles (pitch, roll and yaw gyros) of the bike for data analysis. The lean angle is use to correct the tyre diameter as the circumference isn't the same depending of the lean angle. The IMU-G also feature a GPS antenna is wired directly to the ECU. This information can be used to trigger lap beacon or control strategies. We also use the position of the bike on the track to compare rider's lines…

Handle bar switches modules

For the riders to change Traction Control settings, engine maps and activate the launch control, we are using an billet-alumminium made switches module

Accelerator

This accelerator include 2 rotary potentiometers to transform the rider request in two signals.
