Pi Garda
The Pi Garda sailing system has been developed with the British
Olympic team to provide the ultimate performance improvement tool
for dinghy
sailors. The Pi Garda logger opens up a previously hidden myriad
of tools for the performance
sailor.
Features available include:
- True VMG calculated from wind speed and direction
- Performance comparison against theoretical polars and
calculation of theoretical target speed
- Analysis of tacks and gybes alongside whether the shift was
large enough to tack on or not
- Distance/time to lay lines, bias and proximity of the start
line.
- All data can be synchronised with video from the water producing the first accurate dinghy performance analysis tool.
The list of features does not end there, custom fittings and analysis are also available for sailors who want to achieve those final few percent. This range includes custom strain gauges, rudder sensors and inertial measurement tools.
