The drive to reduce costs and lead times while maintaining quality and service is at the heart of Cosworth's precision manufacturing operation. From 'one-off' to large batch work, Cosworth's highly skilled & experienced workforce can be relied upon to deliver on schedule even when faced with the demands of high accuracy and short lead time requirements.
We place particular focus on applying expertise gained from across the various markets in which Cosworth operates to reduce component weight and manufacturing cost. Processes such as Design For Manufacture (DFM) and rapid prototyping are employed to reduce machine time and minimise wastage.
Fully integrated CAD/CAM systems with Vericut machine simulation provide capability to work with a range of high performance materials including aluminium, titanium and steel.
Our range of machining centres are able to carry out CNC milling, honing and grinding operations within a lights-out environment to produce supreme results in minimal time scales.
